I. Working Principle
The core sensing element of the air pressure sensor is a pressure-sensitive film connected to a flexible resistor. When the measured gas pressure decreases or increases, the film deforms, causing the resistor’s resistance to change. As the resistor’s resistance varies, the voltage measured across its terminals also changes. This voltage is then converted via A/D conversion and received by a data acquisition unit, which transmits the results to a computer in an appropriate format.
II. Specifications
Range: 0–700 kPa
Resolution: 0.1 kPa
III. Structure and Features
1. Equipped with a 1.8-inch color LCD screen.
2. Configured with five functional buttons for simple and convenient operation.
3. Supports high-speed USB data transfer for rapid communication with data acquisition devices.
4. Enables wireless communication with experimental terminals.
5. Features a built-in high-capacity removable battery.
6. Includes a snap-on sensor interface for compatibility with standard sensors in combined experiments.
7. Provides fixed mounting points for integration with traditional equipment on iron stands.
8. Compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows systems.
IV. Typical Applications
The air pressure sensor is suitable for measuring gas pressure in containers and ambient environments. It is primarily used in physics experiments related to gas pressure, such as gas laws, as well as in biological and chemical experiments for measuring dry, non-corrosive gas pressure. Typical applications include:
– Atmospheric pressure measurement
– Ideal gas law experiments
V. Note
This product is intended solely for educational use and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.
VI. Usage Tips
1. Ensure the measured gas container is tightly connected to the sensor’s pressure port via tubing during use.
2. Do not use for measuring liquid pressure or exceed the specified range.
