I. Working principle

An electrocardiogram, also called an ECG or EKG, is an electrical signal produced by the heart. The EKG sensor is connected to your body to measure the ECG activity, and the software displays the ECG activity graphically.

III.Structure and function

IV.Typical applications

An EKG sensor measures the heart’s voltage waveform (voltage generated by the heart’s contractions). Applied research: Measure ECG data while sitting, standing, before and after exercise, while laughing, and before and after using coffee drinks. like

1. Monitor the electrocardiogram of a person at rest
2. Study the meaning of P, Q, R, S and T waves
3. Monitor the electrocardiogram after moderate exercise
4. Study the electrocardiogram after slight stimulation

V.Caution

1. Wipe clean the corresponding areas of the skin where the ECG electrodes are to be pasted;
2. Place the ECG electrode on a clean area of the skin (clean with water, soapy water or alcohol swab);
3. Attach the ECG electrodes to: the black ground wire is attached to the right forearm, the white negative electrode is attached to the right foot, and the red positive electrode is attached to the left forearm;
4. Metal or magnetic substances on the body will interfere with or distort the ECG signal;
5. When the ECG leads are connected to the electrodes, the sensor is ready to acquire data. (Note: The baseline of the ECG waveform will change with the movement of large muscle groups as the ECG sensor collects data. For best results, remain still while collecting data.)
