Wide temperature measurement range: from -40°C to +140°C
I. Working Principle
The surface temperature sensor uses a thermistor as the sensing element, which directly converts temperature changes into resistance variations. These variations are then processed by a bridge circuit, converted into voltage changes, and amplified for output.
II. Specifications
Measures the temperature of human skin or any other surface.
Wide temperature measurement range: from -40°C to +140°C.
III. Structure and Function
1. The sensor terminal comes with a 1.8-inch color LCD screen.
2. The sensor terminal is equipped with 5 function buttons. The operation interface is simple and convenient.
3. The sensor terminal supports high-speed USB data channel, which enables high speed transmission to the datalogger.
4. The sensor terminal supports wireless communication with experimental terminals.
5. The sensor terminal has a built-in removable battery with a large capacity.
6. The sensor terminal is designed with a hidden buckle sensor interface to support combined experiments with other sensors.
7. The sensor terminal has designed a fixation spot to get it fixed on the iron frame conveniently and combined with traditional lab equipment for experiments.
8. The sensor terminal supports the latest operating systems, such as iOS, Android, windows operating systems, etc.
IV. Typical Applications
The surface temperature sensor is a universal laboratory temperature sensor, which is designed to replace the thermometer used in chemical, physical, biological, earth science, and environmental science experiments. It applies to ideal gas law, endothermic and exothermic experiments, thermal effect of light, etc.
V. Caution
This product is suitable for educational use only and is not suitable for industrial, medical, research, or commercial applications.
VI. Usage Tips
1. The thermosensitive element of the surface temperature sensor is located at the tip of the metal probe. Ensure full contact between this part and the object being measured.
2. Protect the metal probe; do not pull, press, or subject it to excessive force.
3. Do not rub, strike, or heat the metal probe directly with a flame.
4. Do not use it in a highly corrosive environment.
5. Clean the sensor thoroughly after use.
